By accessing or using Talkingo's mobile application and website (the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Description of Services

Talkingo provides language learning services including but not limited to:

Structured language lessons
AI-powered conversation practice
Speech analysis and pronunciation feedback
Live coaching sessions with language tutors
Community features and conversation spaces

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information updated.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Free and Paid Plans

Talkingo offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans provide access to additional features as described on our pricing page.

4.2 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis depending on your selected plan. All payments are processed securely through our payment partners.

4.3 Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you're not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of your purchase for a full refund. Refunds for annual subscriptions after 30 days will be prorated.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Services for any illegal purpose
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Share inappropriate content in community features
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Use automated scripts to access the Services
Share your account credentials with others

You retain ownership of content you create (voice recordings, notes). By using our Services, you grant us a license to use this content to provide and improve our Services.

7. Live Coaching Sessions

Live coaching sessions are subject to availability and must be booked in advance. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session to avoid charges.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that you will achieve any specific learning outcomes. Results depend on individual effort and engagement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Talkingo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our Services.

10. Modifications to Services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Services at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
